After years of the Elbo Room and the Mission Community fighting greedy, gentrifying developers from ending this San Francisco institution, Elbo Room will officially be closing its doors on January 1st 2019 to make way for more overpriced condos for the 1%. This is a huge blow to the San Francisco music scene and the Mission community. Elbo has been the home base for LA GENTE SF since we first began. Some of my favorite musical moments and greatest memories have been on that stage.
